Tamara Markowicz
Tamara is part of our team of administrative assistants and facilitates the smooth execution of the peer review process, ensuring clear and consistent communication between the scientific officers and reviewers and assisting experts in their use of ESF tools to carry out their reviews. Her strong organisation skills are essential to the sound operation of the grant evaluation activities.
Though she did not make her childhood dream job – becoming an astronomer – a reality, Tamara feels a nanometer closer to the stars, and definitely closer to the scientific community since she joined the European Science Foundation in 2020. A trained librarian and executive assistant with a genuine interest for multicultural environments, she had the opportunity to operate in a diversity of domains, both in England and in France.
