Nicole Martin
Nicole facilitates grant evaluations for the ESF’s partner institutions. Since 2020, Nicole has worked with a number of different partners including the University of Luxembourg, University of Bordeaux, University of Namur, University of Hasselt, University of Ghent, Luxembourg National Research Fund (FNR), Shota Rustaveli National Science Foundation of Georgia, Czech Science Foundation (GACR), and Research Foundation – Flanders (FWO). Each call for proposals is different and challenging, which keeps things interesting for the Grant Evaluation team. Our team adapts our platform, processes, and approach as appropriate given the needs of the specific programme.
Nicole has extensive administration experience in research and academic environments. Originally from Vancouver, she studied Political Science at Simon Fraser University. She then worked as an administrative assistant in a national research laboratory in Canada and as a departmental administrator for a university in the UK.
