Antti Tahvanainen
Antti has a strong background in research, science management and research-administration projects. He manages two H2020 projects, UniSAFE and ACCTING, and one HE project, GenderSAFE. In addition, his expertise in the fields of ethics, open science, data management and personal data issues has been called upon in 10+ other EU-funded projects.
This expertise is built on his lifelong interest in information and knowledge management, which led him to gain a PhD in History from the University of Helsinki, with research training from stays at University College London, Warburg Institute, and the European University Institute.
Motivated by his enthusiasm to leverage his research skills into practical know-how, Antti has an extensive portfolio of work experience in fields ranging from Open Access publishing to research management and government information services, as well as being a certified Technical Writer.
