Asya Salnikova

Asya is a Science Officer at ESF Science Connect. She is currently working on EU-funded projects Time4CS and PATTERN within the Inclusive Science cluster, dealing with Responsible Research and Innovation (RRI) and more specifically, to citizen engagement, citizen science, inclusion, gender equality and Open Science.

Asya holds a PhD in International Law from the University of Strasbourg and has vast experience in project management, and in developing and supporting European and international collaborations. Prior to joining ESF, she worked as lawyer and Programme Coordinator at the Council of Europe in Strasbourg, where she was involved in designing and implementing European projects, including project proposals preparation, negotiations with the European Commission and relevant stakeholders, responsibility for the team and project activities at the implementation stage, reporting, policy analysis, development of participatory methods and other managerial, administrative and technical tasks.
