The ESF Conferences Unit is only able to support a small number of the excellent proposals received every year. Out of 97 eligible proposals received for the Call for Proposals for 2012 ESF Research Conferences, 14 were short listed for funding.
The success rate for the Call for Proposals for 2012 ESF Research Conferences, sorted by topic:
• Molecular Biology +: expected success rate 21%
• Physics/Biophysics and Environmental Sciences: expected success rate 21%
• Social Sciences and Humanities: expected success rate 9%
