This Working Group will analyse main achievements in the sphere of marine biotechnology since 2001 (publication of Marine Board Position Paper 4 on this topic) in order to review innovation technologies, trends & emerging paradigms, identify/update key areas for development in Europe and propose improved procedures and identify future R&D needs.
The Marine Board has an observer status at the EC Collaborative Working Group on Marine Biotechnology (CWG-MB).
