AMPERA

The Marine Board Secretariat was Task Leader in AMPERA (2005-2009), which aimed to foster prevention and best response to accidental marine pollution. The Marine Board is responsible for the interaction between AMPERA and other European Research Area related activities. AMPERA was coordinated by the Spanish Ministry of Science and Innovation (MICINN).

Marine / Environmental ERA-NET Forum: within this task, the Marine Board initiated a series of annual fora for marine and environmental ERA-NETs. Last Forum focused on the regional dimension in the ERA took place in Brussels on 3 April 2008.

• 1st AMPERA transnational Call for Proposals, launched in May 2007, resulted in approval of six projects for funding totalling €2.25M. A kick-off meeting took place in Oslo on 30 September 2008.
