The laboratory of Behavioral Genetics, within the Brain and Mind Institute-School of Life Science at the Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL)/CH is organizing an international symposium, Understanding Violence – Recent advances in biology, sociology and modeling - EPFL Latsis Symposium 2009 which will take place on February 11-12th & 13th, 2009 on the EPFL campus.  (see more information in the webpage http://latsis2009.epfl.ch/).

The Kiel Summer School (KiSS) is a center for learning in an international context, offering a variety of courses in economics, business administration, quantitative methods, social sciences, and the German language. The seven-week program also includes a series of field trips and visits to business companies. No prior German language training is required. COST invites researchers throughout Europe to submit proposals for research networks, including the domain of Individuals, Society, Culture and Health. Since 1971 COST brings together research teams in different countries working on specific topics.
