Public Awareness of Marine Science
At the end of 2000, the ESF Marine Board set up a network of communications officers from its member organisations. The network met for the first time in February 2001.
One of its main achievements was its contribution to the ESF Marine Board position paper Navigating the Future, released in March 2001.
The Communications WG has recently been re-activated with a new mandate and a renewed membership.
