Functional Dynamics in Complex Chemical and Biological Systems (FUNCDYN)

Summary

The vision of the FUNCDYN Programme is to establish a competitive European research community in functional dynamics. The intention of the proposal is to make new tools and methods for quantitative modelling of behaviour, development and morphology of biological systems with special emphasis on the incorporation of dynamic information.  A second major goal of functional dynamics consists in investigating the dynamics of such systems, where the dynamical behaviour in itself is found to be part of the function. Duration

This Research Networking Programme will last for five years, starting with the first meeting of the Steering Committee which was held on 23-24 November 2006.
