EurOCEAN 2007

EurOCEAN 2007 – the European Commission’s EurOCEAN 2007 conference will be held on 22 June 2007 in Aberdeen.  This event will focus on the marine science aspects in support of the development of the European Maritime Policy, and should result in the Aberdeen Declaration, an evolution from the Galway 2004 Declaration. The Aberdeen Declaration will synthesise the voice of European marine scientists and express their priorities in the context of the development of the European Maritime Policy. The Marine Board is coordinating the Programme Committee, chaired by Lars Horn; the preliminary version of the programme is presented on the EurOCEAN 2007 website.
