Role of organisation
The Biotechnology and Biological Sciences Research Council (BBSRC) is the leading funding agency for academic research and training in the biosciences at universities and institutes throughout the UK. Research funded by BBSRC furthers our understanding of processes at the level of molecules and cells, as well as improving our knowledge of how whole organisms work, and how they interact with each other in populations and ecological systems.
