Role of organisation |
The ANRS (the national agency for AIDS research) is a state funding public agency which defines its goal-oriented priorities through scientific endeavor, sponsors research proggrams, and awards fellowships through its peer review process. ANRS drives and finances AIDS research in France since 1992. The ANRS is active is all pertinent fields of research :basic biology, vaccines, clinical studies, epidemiology, therapeutic trials, public health, and the socio-behavioral sciences. The ANRS also supports research programs in the developing world. The ANRS's latest remit (since 1999) is clinical, therapeutic and public health research into hepatitis C. | |
