Role of organisation |
The FWF, the Austrian Science Foundation, supports fundamental research in all areas of scientific enquiry. It provides research assistance for younger students and aims to stimulate European scientific cooperation. The organisation also carries out public relations work in order to call attention to the needs of scientific research in Austria. The FWF has a responsibility to ensure that the results of research it supports is widely reported. It provides expert advice and assists in developing public policy on matters of research and technology. | |
