Science Meetings

How to submit a Science Meeting proposal?

Applications should be submitted online at least 3 months before the planned starting date of the event.

Please use this online application form to submit your science meeting proposal (workshop, conference, school).

Short Visit Grants (up to 15 days)

How to submit a Short Visit proposal?

Applications should be submitted online at least 2 months before the planned starting date of the exchange.

Please use this online application form to submit your short-visit proposal (up to 15 days).

A complete Short Visit Grant application must include the following information:

- A description of the proposed project work and the aim of the visit - A short curriculum vitae  - Full address details of the prospective host - Proposed starting date - Estimated travel costs Further information on procedures, reporting, ESF financial rules for the reimbursement of travel costs etc. can be found in the Guidelines for Short Visit Grants.

Exchange Grants (from 2 weeks to 6 months)

How to submit an Exchange Grant proposal?

Applications should be submitted online at least 2 months before the planned starting date of the exchange.

Please use the online application form to submit your Exchange Grant proposal (from 2 weeks to 6 months). 

Exchange Grant application must include the following information:

- A description of the proposed project work and the aim of the stay
- A curriculum vitae 
- Five most recent publications
- A letter of recommendation 
- A letter of acceptance from the host institute
- Proposed starting date
- Estimated travel costs
