Windows to Science : Information System of European Research Organisations. An ESF – EuroHORCS workshop, Stockholm, 25 and 26 June 2007.
At the request of EuroHoRCs a working group, facilitated by ESF, is exploring the possibility of linking up the research information systems of european organisations. In this frame, ESF together with EuroHORCs organized a workshop to exchange experiences on existing research information systems, to discuss the added value of a joint research information system and to explore the advantages and disadvantages of various models of joint Research Information system (distributed/ central database models) . The workshop, attended by 20 staff members of EuroHORCS member organisations, took place on 25 and 26 June 2007 in Stockholm, and was hosted by the Swedish Research Council.
