Special requirements of national funding agencies for RNPs

You will find below details provided by ESF member Organisations and other national funding agencies as well as links to their web sites informing about their requirements regarding financial support for participation in ESF Research Networking Programmes. If a link to the agency in your country is not provided you may wish to contact the agency directly.

France

CNRS affiliated researchers should inform CNRS already at proposal stage that they are involved in the submission of an RNP or considered as future Steering Committee members. Otherwise CNRS may not support the RNP itself (if recommended) nor endorse the participation of the above researchers in the project.

Detailed guidelines are available at:

Italy

The Consiglio Nazionale delle Ricerche - CNR, in compliance with the 2003 Reform Act, will decide to take part - and allocate relevant funds - only in those RNPs in which CNR institutes and researchers are directly involved. CNR's support to a research networking programme is conditional to the presence (as a member) of one of its researchers on the programme's Steering Committee.

For further details contact the CNR Liaison and support Office for international activities of Scientific Departments.

Lithuania

Lithuanian scientists should inform the Lithuanian State Science and Studies Foundation if they decide to submit a proposal or if they are partners in any proposals submitted to the ESF, otherwise the Lithuanian SSS Foundation may not support the RNP itself (if recommended) nor endorse the participation of the those researchers in the project.
