Rationale
This Forum, launched in 2010, is implementing the final report of the ESF MO Forum on “Research Career Development Research Careers in Europe: Landscape and Horizons” (see download the report of the 1st forum). It aims to make recommendations for joint actions in Europe including to provide ‘equal playing fields’ for researchers, support the development of ‘portfolio careers’; improve the attractiveness, competitiveness and structuring of European research careers; develop and implement European policies for research career development.
Aim & Objectives
The Forum will issue sound and implementable recommendations in order to make Europe an attractive place to work as a researcher. Its action plan is as follows:
