Summary

The scientific focus of this exploratory workshop is frontier research on ices from many experimental and theoretical points of view, including water ice and other ices or solids condensed from different gases existing in extreme conditions in space, polymorphism and polyamorphism of ice, nucleation, morphology, reactivity, spectroscopy, etc. One of the aims of this international meeting is to generate ideas for a future European network around these topics.
