Summary

We propose to organize a workshop to bring together experimental and computational biologists to address the issue of how to best systematically measure, annotate, quantify, and verify the proteomes of model organisms used in biomedical and agricultural research. Our workshop will lead to new collaborations, strengthen the position of Europe in proteomics and systems biology research, and set the foundation for a future application to the EU framework programme.
