A permanent call is open to allow EuroMEMBRANE Project Leaders (PLs) and Principal Investigators (PIs) to apply for funding to organise activities across Collaborative Research Projects (CRPs) or even, if applicable, activities across EUROCORES programmes (list of running EUROCORES Programmes).
While applicants must be PLs or PIs, beneficiaries can be Project Members (PhD students, Post-Doc researchers) participating in an Individual Project.
Three types of activities are defined as detailed below and for each type there are specific guidelines available to help you with your application.All applications will be assessed by the EuroSYNBIO Scientific Committee. Applicants will be informed of the outcome of their proposal by the EuroSYNBIO Office.

Networking activities are intended to encourage and facilitate cooperation between the Collaborative Research Projects (CRPs) within the EuroSYNBIO programme and also, if appropriate, across different EUROCORES Programme. They must directly involve more than one CRP from the same or another EUROCORES Programme.

EUROCORES Short Term Visits support visits to another CRP lab within the same or different EUROCORES Programme for up to a maximum of 6 weeks.
Applicants can be junior scientists (PhD students or Post-Doc researchers) working within an individual project. Only cross-CRP visits are eligible; intra-CRP travel cannot be covered.

Online submission of a Short Term Visit (2 months in advance)
Dissemination activities are intended to deepen the impact of the research and stregthen the field by facilitating the dissemination of results, while raising the profile of a EUROCORES Programme as a whole.
Typical examples are:
A - EuroMEMBRANE invited at larger conferences, Working Group meetings (submitted online)
B - Publications: leaflets, posters, EuroMEMBRANE corner in a poster session, books, exhibition booth or stand at a conference (submitted offline)
C - Dissemination Travel Grants to support an active participation at conferences (organised outside EuroMEMBRANE) while promoting the EUROCORES scheme in general and disseminating the achievements of the programme in particular (submitted offline)
D - Others: for any dissemination activties not covered by the above 3 categories, please contact the EuroMEMBRANE Coordinator at euromembrane @ esf.org.

Online submission of "A" category (3 months in advance)
Applications for categories "B" and "C" must be submitted offline (3 months in advance) as explained in the guidelines above.
Appropriate acknowledgement support from the ESF should appear in all presentations, reports, publications and other documentation resulting from activities which are funded either partially or entirely by a EUROCORES Programme. A reprint of the published document should be sent to the ESF.
