Open Research Scientist Position at TRIUMF
TRIUMF is opening a position for a Research Scientist in its ISAC (Isotope Separator and ACcelerator) group.The successful candidate will be expected to assume a leadership role in the ISAC nuclear physics program and be able to develop and exploit the science opportunities from a large suite of experimental facilities available. In particular, this includes playing a significant role either in the ion trap or the nuclear astrophysics program.
This full time Research Scientist position is open to all career levels and is typically leading to continuing status. Full consideration will be given to those applicants with a PhD in nuclear physics or related nuclear science, and who have post-doctoral or university faculty or equivalent experience with a strong emphasis on nuclear astrophysics or ion trap-based mass or decay spectroscopy.
