Chemical Control at the Nanoscale (EuroNANOCHEM)

Highlights

EuroNANOCHEM (Chemical Control at the Nanoscale) is a new EUROCORES Theme that aims  to develop a pan-European programme that utilises state-of-art research in femtosecond chemistry, electron-molecule physics and Scanning Tunnel Microscopy (STM) to gain chemical control at the nanoscale by bringing together groups and expertise in atomic, molecular and optical physics, chemical physics, optics, nanotechnology and surface science.

What's New!

  • EURONANOCHEM was not approved by ESF Science Advisory Board. Therefore, the EURONANOCHEM Call for Outline Proposals will not be launched.
  • The EuroNANOCHEM Preparatory Workshop was held in Brussels on the 27-28 November 2007.
  • The Call for Outline Proposals is not open yet. It is expected that it will be published in March 2008 following agreement with the Funding Agencies who are going to support this Programme.
  • You can download the DRAFT Call for Proposals here.
  • For more information on EuroNANOCHEM please contact Dr. Antonella Di Trapani, Science Officer, or email: euronanochem[at]esf.org
