Grants are available for students and early stage researchers to cover the conference fee and possibly part of the travel costs. In addition, IUFRO will sponsor the participation of IUFRO scientists from developing countries in the frame of the Scientists Assistance Programme (SAP). Grants are distributed based on financial need and scientific merit. Grantees must attend the entire conference in order to benefit from the grant.

Grant requests should be made by ticking appropriate field(s) in the paragraph "Grant application" of the application form.

4 EUR of this fee is used to make this conference more ecologically sustainable. This amount will allow us to offset almost 100% of the CO2 emissions created by this conference and are part of our efforts to make ESF Research Conferences greener... For more information, please click here.

Some single rooms may be available upon request. An additional cost of 150 € will be charged for an upgrade to a single room. The supplement is payable directly to the hotel.

Cancellation Policy

Should you need to cancel your participation, please contact the Conference Officer immediately. If notice of cancellation is received more than two weeks before the conference, all but EUR 100 will be reimbursed. No refund is possible if notice of cancellation is received less than two weeks before the conference.
