The nearest airports - in order of proximity - are Strasbourg, EuroAirport Basel-Mulhouse-Freiburg, and Frankfurt.
Strasbourg International Airport (approx. 18 km)
A shuttle train to the Strasbourg Train Station stops at the airport every 5-15 minutes. From the train station (outside to your left) take Tram C - direction Neuhof R. Reuss to « PLACE DE LA REPUBLIQUE ».
The multitransport Tram+TER (regional train service) ticket can be bought from a vending machine at the airport.
Karlsruhe-Baden airport is about 40 km from Strasbourg and has regular Ryanair flights from London Stansted, Rome-Ciampino and Barcelona-Girona, amongst others.
A shuttle bus service goes between Karlsruhe-Baden airport and Place d’Etoile in Strasbourg but the times are only convenient for London flights (timetable)
Alternatively a taxi fare costs around 60 €.
EuroAirport Basel-Mulhouse-Freiburg (approx. 140 km ) There is a bus service from/to Mulhouse railway station to/from the airport. The journey takes about 30 minutes and a single journey costs 6, 10 €. For the timetable click the ’getting around icon’ on the airport’s website. Frankfurt Airport (approx. 225 km) For train connections to and from the airport to Strasbourg or Offenburg Railway Station in Germany, which is about 25 minutes from Strasbourg, click here for the German Railway’s timetable.
Strasbourg is directly connected to Paris, Lyon, south-eastern France, Luxembourg, Belgium, Germany, Switzerland, Northern Italy and Eastern Europe.
There is also a "Rhine-metro", which operates between Strasbourg and Offenburg in Germany.
With the TGV (high-speed train), Paris is only 2 hrs 20 mins away from Strasbourg. The TGV link also connects with the German Inter City Express (ICE) making Karlsruhe, Stuttgart, Munich, Vienna and Budapest much more accessible.

Strasbourg is directly linked to Paris by the A4 motorway and the A34, A31 and A32 motorways allow direct access to Strasbourg from Amsterdam, Brussels, Luxembourg and Bonn, via Metz and Saarbrücken.
The Strasbourg-Mulhouse route joins it to the rest of the French motorway network.
Strasbourg is fifteen minutes from the Hamburg-Frankfurt-Basel-Genoa or Milan motorway, itself linked to the entire European motorway network.
